疾病与痛苦并⾮由“神”或“万有一切”或⼀个外在因素硬推到你身上的。它们是学习过程的⼀种副产品，由你所创造，它们本身是相当中⽴的。在另⼀⽅⾯来说，你⾃⼰存在的本身，你们地球的实相与本质，你在其中有这些经验的整个存在，也都是你们所创造的，应⽤我刚说过的能⼒。

Illness  and  suffering are  not  thrust upon you  by  God, or  by  All That  Is,  or by  anoutside  agency. They  are  by-products of  thelearning  process, created  by  you, inthemselves  quite  neutral. On  the  other hand,your  existence  itself, the  reality  and nature  ofyour  planet, the  whole  existence in  which  youhave these  experiences,  are also  created  byyou, using  the  abilities of  which  I  havespoken.

The ego’s desire for health and the organism’s impetus toward health, are constant balances, and are always present. The illness is not to be regarded as a natural (underlined) event, but the reason for it sought. The reason is often a lack of a quality. The realization of the lack and the mental, emotional and psychic acquisition of the quality, brings the illness to a close.

自我渴望健康和有机体对健康的推动是常数平衡，并且始终存在。

疾病不应该被视为一种自然事件，而是应该寻找原因。

原因往往是某种品质的缺乏。

当一个人生病时，不一定是因为他在潜意识里想要生病。

不一定是因为他在心理上正得到某个隐藏的好处，也不见得是因为这个病满足某个需求。


他之所以生病往往——事实上，一直都是——因为一个发生在自己之内并且具体化为物质形式的扭曲。
Fear cannot be ignored. It must be faced and conquered. It always leads to retreat when it is not faced. The physical image is indeed a replica in many ways of the inner self. When a man is ill it is not necessarily because he wants to be ill subconsciously. It is not necessarily because he is receiving some hidden psychological benefit, or because the illness fulfills some need. He is ill often—always in fact—because of a distortion that is occurring within the self, and materialized in physical form.
